Join us for a fun day of flash talks from students, postdocs, and faculty from universities in the US Northeast working on morphology, physiology, development and biomechanics questions.
As per tradition, this meeting offers a supporting venue for newer (undergraduate, graduate, postdoc) researchers to debut as platform presenters or practice their talks. When student talks abound, faculty will happily be the audience, but we also program a series of perspective talks by senior researchers.

Plan to use your own computer and talk for FIVE minutes about a cool new result or a fun idea. We will program ONE minute transitions between talks to accommodate questions and computer switches. The flash talk program is alternated with Perspective talks (10 minutes) by the following speakers:

Transport to UML Inn and Conference Center:
Public: From Boston. Take the Lowell commuter Rail line, then walk (15 mins) or catch bus 2,3 or 12 (12 mins) to UML ICC.
Car: From RT3 or the 495 loop, exit onto the Lowell Connector and exit the connector at Thorndike St. Follow signs to UML ICC.
Parking: The UML Inn and Conference Center parking lot (free of charge when you mention the meeting. Enter on the inn parking lot side)
Social: We will host a group social in the ICC atrium immediately following the meeting. The Divisions for Comparative Biomechanics and Vertebrate Morphology have kindly sponsored a part of this event.
Accomodation: If you feel like staying over, the ICC has nice rooms at affordable rates.
Call Reservations (978-934-6920) and mention the meeting to receive the UML discount.
Registration: Online registration is now closed but we accept walk-in registrations up until 9:30AM on the day. Please bring a check on the amount (students $35, postdocs $40, Faculty $50), made out to The Department of Biological Sciences at UMass Lowell. Registration covers coffee breaks, lunch and snacks at the social where there also will be a cash bar.
