Members of the Konow Lab and Andy Bieweners lab at Concord Field Station are involved in four presentations at this years SICB meeting in New Orleans. On the 5th, Konow and Tijs talk about their work on rat hind limb muscle shape change in a sesion dedicated to muscle mechanics (8AM onwards). UML sophomore Alex Collias presents her poster on muscle strain during locomotion that evening and Konow is co-author on a paper delivered by B. Frederich on angelfish miniturization on the 6th. Then, its dinner at Jacques-Imos.
